Exfoliation is great to help turnover our skin and give that healthy glow. Our exfoliator contains a blend of fruit acids as well as green tea to help calm the skin.
Our exfoliator is designed for dry aging sensitive skin. If you notice that your skin lacks luster then this may be a product for you. Exfoliating with fruit acid can help restore the youthful glow that gives our skin a younger appearance.
Exfoliation is the removal of the dead skin cells sitting on the skin’s surface. Exfoliation leaves the skin smoother and fresher looking, and makes it easier for other facial products like serums to penetrate the skin’s surface.
Our exfoliator contains a mixture of gentle exfoliators
Aloe vera and green tea calms the skin.
Glycolic acid is derived from natural sugar cane works naturally to gently lift away dead skin cells so new healthy skin can emerge. Glycolic is great for brightening and smoothing rough, ruddy, or uneven skin
Lactic acid is another alpha hydroxy acid which is derived from milk. lactic acid is great for acne, fine lines, and brown spots
Alpha hydroxy acids may reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles as the skin is becomes better hydrated. Age spots may also lighten as the top layers of skin are shed over time.
Malic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid, is found naturally in many fruits and vegetables especially apples.
Tartaric Acid is derived from grapes.
We have substituted propylene glycol which can be found in some other products. Propylene glycol is used as a skin conditioning agent. Unfortunately, according to EWG’s Skin Deep, “It has been associated with irritant and allergic contact dermatitis as well as contact urticaria in humans; these sensitization effects can be manifested at propylene glycol concentrations as low as 2%.”
Exfoliates skin and helps minimize pores
Works to help reduce uneven skin tone and smoothen skin
Helps improve the absorption of other skin care products
To start you should apply only at night after you wash your face. Try this product 2-3 times per week and gradually build up. Use 3 drops and lightly pat the skin, you can use a pad as well but rubbing hard will increase the risk of skin irritation. Too much exfoliation will dry out the skin. If after a week you do not notice redness or irritation you can use twice a day. Stop if irritation occurs.
Follow with a serum and moisturizer.
A Sunscreen needs to be worn when using this product as your skin will be more sensitive to the sun.
