1.       TOMATOES 

These red balls of goodness have always topped the list for decades. Tomatoes are one of the rich sources of antioxidants, Vitamin C, Potassium, Vitamin A, Vitamin B, and Magnesium. Tomatoes had been famous among beauty experts in the fields of application on the skin. The consumption helps to reduce the risk of cancer because of the presence of lycopene. Its potent antioxidant properties have been found to neutralize free radicals that are generated in our bodies due to various reasons. Have it any way you want, in food, juice, or paste, or even apply it on your skin. Doing so allows the natural compounds in tomatoes to be more easily absorbed by the body. They also help to regulate blood pressure, cholesterol and promote cardio health. On top of that, they cure skin pores, acne, revives dull skin, soothes tan and sunburn, and facial structure.

Yeah, I know green tea is not really everyone’s favorite but it has been seen that green tea works wonders for the skin. They also contain antioxidants and phytonutrients. They help to fight acne as well as oily skin. The anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory components help to fight the unwanted guests on our skin. The production of androgens in the body reduces oil or sebum production. Brownie points, green tea also helps to slow down aging. They improve skin elasticity and has a moisturizing effect on the skin. They are an angel when it comes to the prevention of skin disorders caused by exposure to ultraviolet rays.

3.       FISH FOR SKIN

Fishes are being consumed by a large proportion of the population and why not. They are ripe with animal protein, nutrients, and are delicious to eat. They are a rich source of dietary protein omega-3, collagen, and Vitamin E.  Collagen improves skin hydration, elasticity, and other trademarks of aging like wrinkles. Vitamin E supports skin health by protecting against the harmful effects of the sun and by improving symptoms of certain skin conditions. Omega-3 benefits heart conditions, pregnancies, and brain diseases.

4.       CARROTS 

Carrots are mainly known for improving eyesight, but they are equally beneficial for skin health. The orange crunchy sticks are filled with beta carotene, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Carotene gives you the required glow for your skin. They also promote firm, elastic, and healthy skin which slows down aging and premature wrinkles, making the skin more toned. Carrots also nourish dry skin since they have a high amount of potassium. Add carrots to your salad or diet or even have carrot juice or smoothie, which in turn will keep your body hydrated and skin moisturized. Oh, do you know that they also reduce blemishes and scars? They not only make us happy but healthy as well. They contain vitamins and antioxidants which promote glow of skin and cure pre-mature aging, combating free radicals from sun exposure, thus preventing wrinkles in the long run. 6.       PAPAYA

Are you salivating in the same of papaya? Yes, we too. Papayas are a great source of nutrients like antioxidants, vitamins A, B and C and antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties. Papaya smoothens wrinkles and cures skin cell damage. They are also a great help to acne control. If you rub a papaya paste on your face, the exfoliating properties remove dead skin cells and open up the pores. The presence of retinol can also help treat and prevent inflammatory acnes. Daily application of papaya on the face will lighten up the dark spots, and soften up the skin.

7.       WATERMELON

The first thing that comes to our mind when we hear watermelon is its hydrating components, supplying our body with enough liquid, and a great substitute to water. They also act as a natural toner, making us feel refreshed. Lemons are packed with vitamin C, vitamin B, and phosphorous – an amazing food to make your skin glow. The natural acids of lemon gently remove dead skin cells and lighten age spots. It is advisable to have some lemon juice in a glass of lukewarm water with honey every morning before breakfast. Vitamin C also strengthens immunity and helps to fight cold.
